Angie and Alan Misenheimer, with 15 years combined experience, arrived at the insurance business for seniors by way of missionary and church ministry work. The Misenheimers had difficulty themselves understanding complicated Medicare issues when Alan’s mother needed help. They realized that service to seniors in this area was a helpful, fulfilling direction for the next chapter in their careers. They believe in providing an honest, affordable product to their clients.
Alan first did mission work as a volunteer in New Guinea. Upon his return, he and Angie gave up their jobs, sold their home and became fulltime missionaries. They spent 10 years in the mission field with New Tribes Mission of Sanford, FL, with Alan serving as a missionary instructor for five years in Cornettsville, KY. They were ministers to tribal people in Irian, Jaya, Indonesia, before returning to Rowan County in 1999. Alan then pastored two churches – Grace Bible Church and New Life Fellowship.
They believe in community outreach and sponsor a girls’ softball team and continue to support missionaries with New Tribes Mission.
They are the parents of two grown children, Laura and Rusty, and the grandparents of Addyson, Andrew and Allie.
